From AllMusic.com : Self-taught Brooklyn-based producer/engineer/singer/songwriter Sean O'Connell blends the rural theatricality of fringe '60s and '70s singer/songwriters like David Ackles and Lee Hazlewood with the modern indie pop sensibilities of bands like Bon Iver and Band of Horses. A self-described "musical extremist," O'Connell collaborated with Louisiana-based rap artist Curren$y on a film and album project called The Muscle Car Chronicles before releasing his full-length debut, Free at First Light, in January of 2012.
